My First Day In Paris

My First Day In Paris

Well I survived the grueling 27 hours of travel time to get from Melbourne to Paris. Navigated the labyrinth that is Paris airport and here I am. In my hostel after a 6 hour stint of exploring Montmartre. Dog tired but happy to finally have a place to rest my legs and meet some people. Who knows what the evening will bring, my guess lots of sleep.

I’ll give you more detail on my journey and explorations soon, For today I just want to share some of the pictures I took while wandering around Montmartre, enjoy!!

    • Thanks Cailin. I loved Paris, really didn’t have a bad experience for the short time I was there. Wish I had perhaps stayed an extra day just as a rest day. I was go go go the whole time.

When I visited Paris my hotel was in Montmartre. I LOVED that area! Fantastic pics (the black and white look familiar, wink wink). I’m sooo excited for you and your upcoming adventures. Please tell me you had some crepes already? :)

    • Hey Andi. Montmartre is beautiful. Little streets and the view from Sacre Cour is amazing. Alas I didn’t get myself any crepes. I was so full up on pastries and baguettes. Will have to return to get me one.

Wow – your photos are amazing. I especially love the shot of the Eiffel Tower in the distance, and the leafy suburb. The black and white shots look great too – makes Paris look quite…historic, somehow. (It’s hard to explain).
